Our base for this relaxing Christmas break is the 4-star Stirling Highland Hotel, which uniquely is set within a former school, a charming Victorian building with its own rooftop observatory, in the heart of historic Stirling. As well as luxurious rooms with traditional Scottish interiors, the hotel offers an extensive spa and fitness suite, with four treatment rooms, a 17 metre indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. So, if you may have over-indulged in the restaurant or the bar, there’s no excuse not to have a refreshing pre-breakfast swim or workout!
From the moment you arrive at the hotel, you will enjoy the best of Scottish hospitality and a full festive programme that includes entertainment and a traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. You can make full use of the superb leisure facilities, with a range of spa and beauty treatments also available (at a supplement). During the course of our stay there will be an excursion into The Trossachs, the highly scenic area of rolling hills and tranquil lochs.

Your itinerary
Day 1 - Christmas Eve
We depart from your local pick-up point and head for Stirling, where there will be some free time to explore this historic city and perhaps visit the impressive Castle (entrance not included). In the afternoon we continue to our hotel, the 4-star Stirling Highland Hotel. We are welcomed on arrival with mulled wine and mince pies with dinner served in the evening.

Day 2 - Christmas Day
The morning is free to relax or perhaps take a stroll to sharpen your appetite for the feasting to come. A traditional Christmas carvery lunch with all the trimmings follows and after the Queen’s Speech you are free to use the leisure facilities, read your new book or even succumb to a postprandial nap, whichever is your preference.
A light supper is served this evening, when entertainment will be provided

Day 3 - Boxing Day
After breakfast we depart on a scenic coach tour of The Trossachs, travelling via Aberfoyle and the Duke’s Pass; Lochs Katrine and Venacher; Callander and Dunblane, where we will see the gold letter box commemorating the Olympic medal wins of the town’s most famous son, Andy Murray. Alternatively for those who would prefer to relax around the hotel we shall be offering you the option to book some spa treatments (at a supplement).

Day 4 -
Enjoy your breakfast. Sadly it is time to leave Stirling today as we head for home, with arrival due at our original departure points during the afternoon.
