Day by Day Itinerary
We depart from London Euston by rail to Lancaster. (please note connecting rail travel to Newcastle from other stations is available on request or there is a discount of £100pp for those making their own way to Lancaster)
On arrival at Lancaster Station, we join our coach and depart for our first visit, Gresgarth Hall near Caton and home of esteemed garden designer Arabella Lennox-Boyd. Situated in a valley beside the Artle Beck, a tributary of the River Lune, this colourful and well-designed garden is everything you would expect from a garden designer and terraces descending from the house to the lake are planted with roses, clematis and more tender plants in season, with the predominately pinks, purples and silver-whites complementing the rugged grey stone of the Gothic house.
