Day by Day Itinerary
Our Christmastime begins in the vibrant city of Glasgow, where we enjoy a visit to the city’s Christmas markets. With traditional wooden stalls, twinkling lights and the scent of spiced treats in the air, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the season. Take time to browse for gifts and handcrafted decorations or simply soak up the atmosphere with a warming mulled wine in hand. We continue with a visit to the magnificent Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, housed in a grand red sandstone building that’s as striking as the collection it holds. Inside, we find everything from Dutch Old Masters to Charles Rennie Mackintosh, along with natural history displays and festive exhibitions. On arrival at our hotel, we are welcomed with tea, coffee and a sweet seasonal treat before settling into our rooms. This evening, we gather for a three-course dinner followed by some light-hearted entertainment, the ideal start to our Christmas tale of two cities.
