Day by Day Itinerary

Oxford

We depart from our designated pick-up points and begin our journey to the historic city of Oxford, a place steeped in scholarly tradition and architectural splendour. Upon arrival, we enjoy a guided tour of the world-famous Bodleian Library, a true treasure trove of knowledge. With origins dating back to 1602, it is one of the oldest libraries in Europe and holds over 13 million printed items. Our visit includes the breathtaking Divinity School, an architectural masterpiece of late Gothic design, with its intricate fan-vaulted ceiling.

After our guided visit, we continue to the nearby Museum of Oxford. Housed in the historic Town Hall, the museum presents a fascinating narrative of Oxford through the centuries, from its early days as a medieval market town to its evolution into a world-renowned centre of learning. Displays include artefacts from local life, university traditions and rarely seen objects that offer insight into the city’s social and cultural history. It’s a perfect introduction to this extraordinary place.
