Summary
Explore some of the hidden gardens of Hertfordshire and horticultural delights that have been designed by award-winning Garden Designer, Tom Stuart-Smith. We discover the sprawling garden of Broughton Grange, designed by Tom in 2001, which boasts spectacular views across the surrounding Oxfordshire countryside. We also visit two public gardens he designed in London, both of which offer unique features that complement their locations and create a tranquil space for reflection. Additionally, we are privileged to have a private visit to Tom’s very own garden, The Barn, where he joins us for a guided tour, and the neighbouring Regency House – Serge Hill. An evening is also spent in Tom’s esteemed company, where he regales us with tales from his legendary career and there is the opportunity for a short Q&A session.
Other highlights include the charming Church Gardens, Hughenden, the country home of the Victorian statesman Benjamin Disraeli, and the expansive Capel Manor Gardens.
