Our extended tour of the Hebrides has proved extremely popular, offering as it does a unique opportunity to travel the length and breadth of the Western Isles. Our Grand tour takes in all the beauty and diversity of this very special environment with nine different islands and four ferry trips included. Two comfortable hotels ensure that this holiday in the Outer Hebrides is as relaxing as possible, while at the same time offering great variety and the sense of a true journey of discovery which will live long in the memory.
NC500: Please note that this itinerary features part of the North Coast 500, the highly scenic coastal route around the north of Scotland which begins and ends in Inverness.

Day by Day Itinerary
We depart from our designated pick-up points this morning and travel northwest, stopping en-route for refreshments (not included). We continue to Uig on the Isle of Skye where we will board the 18.30hrs ferry to Lochmaddy in North Uist. Dinner will be served on board.
On arrival at 20.15hrs we continue over causeways (keeping a careful eye out for otters) to Benbecula, the ‘stepping stone’ between the Uists, where we arrive at our accommodation, the Dark Island Hotel.
