David has been working with the team at Brightwater leading our tours for many years. He is one of our most experienced tour managers and is always in high demand with our private group organisers and he also has a loyal following of regular guests. David has a wealth experience travelling throughout Scotland and across the wider UK as well as leading tours across continental Europe. He is known for is approachability and easy-going manner as well as his wealth of knowledge which he is always keen to share with guests.

Yes it was a 4-day Scottish Steam, I can remember the pick up at Preston with 10 or 12 passengers. Dates not sure?  2012/13?

The passengers come on the tours to enjoy them and see things they would probably never get a chance to see again. I endeavour to enhance their tour experience and try to fully commit on to making their tour a lifetime memory.

My favourite destinations are Shetland and Orkney, followed by The Outer Hebrides as I enjoy promoting Scotland, its Highlands and islands.

Very personal, many of my colleagues are of a similar mindset to myself in that they wish to promote the destinations visited, enhance the overall tour experience, for all our guests.

Having visited both for my own pleasure / holidays, these destinations are a wonderful experience for everyone, with flora, fauna for all tastes, and fantastic scenic views, and local people who are wonderful to meet.
