Day by Day Itinerary

We depart from our designated pick-up points and travel to Salisbury Cathedral. Usually decorated with festive foliage arrangements, a giant Christmas tree with twinkling lights and a wooden nativity scene, it’s a lovely place to soak up the yuletide atmosphere on Christmas Eve. This medieval gem boasts the tallest spire in Britain and is renowned for its remarkable cloisters, chapter house, stained glass windows and the world’s oldest mechanical clock. Built between 1220 and 1258, the cathedral is also home to one of four surviving copies of the Magna Carta, a symbol of social justice and freedom that dates back to 1215. After some time here, we check into our hotel in Salisbury, where we enjoy mince pies and mulled wine upon arrival.
