Day by Day Itinerary

We depart from London to Lisbon, where on arrival we transfer to our hotel. Later in the afternoon we visit The Foundation of the Houses of Fronteira and Alorna, a cultural institution dedicated to the preservation and study of the material and immaterial heritage of the Houses of Fronteira and Alorna. The foundation was set up in 1987 by Dom Fernando Mascarenhas (1945-2014), a descendant of three important Portuguese nobility houses: Fronteira, Alorna and Távora. The Fronteira Palace, located in Lisbon, is one of the foundation’s main assets, and this 17th-century palace, located on a former pleasure farm, includes a formal garden, an informal garden and a woodland, offering visitors a unique experience of immersion in Portuguese history and culture.
