A Luxury Experience On The Maharajas’ Express Train

This unique, luxury train will allow you to explore India in style, on a rail holiday truly unlike any other. Boasting two fine dining restaurants, cabins with panoramic windows and opulent décor throughout that offers a chance to rediscover a bygone era, there’s nothing as memorable as a journey aboard the legendary Maharajas’ Express.

This particular train has myriad awards under its belt, including numerous World Travel Awards won for seven consecutive years, and it offers modern facilities such as WiFi, flat screen plasma TVs and an intercom system. The 14 guest carriages are each named after precious stones, such as diamond and pearl, and the styling on board is unparalleled, with semi-precious stones used for decoration along with rich carpeting and linen tapestry.

The two on-board restaurants are a delight, offering a true taste of luxury train travel. The first of the two is named Mayur Mahal, while the second is called Rang Mahal.
