RHS Chelsea Flower Show
For the first time in its 108-year history, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2021 took place in the autumn. With this seasonal schedule change being prompted by the pandemic, the fact that this horticultural highlight was still able go ahead came as a great relief to many.
Lots more of us have been turning to gardening and finding solace in nature lately, so to experience this legendary flower show at a time of year when the season lends itself to a particular type of natural beauty was a real treat.
Our Chelsea Flower Show holidays are always incredibly popular and tend to sell out quickly, so book now for 2023 to ensure you don't miss out!

Adam Frost's exclusive tips for a first-timer
“Chelsea is such a great show for finding new and exciting plants. I would say to people to look at smaller sections of planting for ideas. The size of the show gardens can be quite overwhelming, but if you just focus on a small collection of plants with in a bigger border it can still provide lots of ideas about combining colour, textures, shape and size.
The show is also a great place to look at materials and structures. There is always a fantastic range of different shapes, sizes and styles with unusual construction methods or new materials on display. Make sure you have plenty of space on your camera for taking lots of photos!”
What made 2021 so special?

In addition to being held in autumn for the first time in its 108-year history, there was a brand new RHS category at the event this year – Sanctuary Gardens. It sought to highlight the positive impact that plants have on our health and wellbeing. From a Finnish Soul Garden to a garden that pays tribute to the wonderful NHS, there was much to discover as the event took place in September 2021.

We have a number of different itineraries on offer that can take you to the Chelsea Flower Show in 2023, a year that will see it return to its usual May slot.
