Since its inception Brightwater Holidays has provided bespoke travel arrangements for many private groups and societies. It’s a large part of what we do on a day-to-day basis. The itineraries and packages have been as varied as the groups themselves, ranging from, at its simplest, a short city break, to a grand 14 day tour of South Africa.
Typically, tours for our private groups include all transportation, accommodation and entry costs, visiting gardens, stately homes, art galleries and other specialist attractions to suit the group’s individual requirements.
Some of the many private groups we have worked with include:
• National Trust Member Centres in York, Wolverhampton, Barnet and Hampstead
• NADFAS groups in Beaconsfield, Huntingdon and Cupar
• U3A groups in Brecon, Rugby, Wells and Malden• Probus Clubs in Congleton, Claygate, Dursley, Sandy, Aberdeen and Sandown
• National Trust for Scotland Member Centres in East Fife, Aberdeen and Inverness
• Friends of Lisbon Botanic Gardens
• Abbots Langley Gardening Society
• Men of the Stones
• The Historical Association
• National Botanic Gardens of Scotland
• Worcestershire Garden Society

What groups think of us
“I have to say that the level of satisfaction of all the participants was really high. Your guide Hugh and his local knowledge added a lot to the week’s information. The Hotel in Penzance has a charm of its own. I shall have no hesitation in either using your services again or recommending you to others.” Louise Parks-Ahonen, Bank of Finland Gardening Club
“We had a great time in Barcelona. Your guide, Ines, was superb. She is a great asset to your team and we all appreciated her thoughtful and helpful advice and guidance. She is a great communicator and I was surprised at how much information we were able to absorb. The hotel was very comfortable and the reception staff were helpful. We would have no hesitation in staying there again - and we all had sea views, which was lovely.” Kate MacNish, Abbots Langley Gardening Society
“We had a very enjoyable break in the North. We explored happily despite the nippy wind in Newcastle and the play was excellent. Dave proved an excellent and most helpful driver and stopped for us in several places going up the coast. We caught the sunshine each time we stopped in Alnmouth, Lindisfarne et al. The Alnwick gardens were amazing and Tony looked after us well too.” Dr Jane Jackson, Medical Arts Society
